Investing in 2025: capital markets remain constructive
2024 was remarkable for the capital markets in many respects: in the US, we can look back on one of the best stock market years in history - once again supported by the Magnificent 7. What can we expect for 2025? A view from CIO Karin Kunrath.
How are Emerging Markets developing?
The past few weeks have been quite a ride: First, China surprised with the announcement of major stimulus packages, which led to a sharp short-term rise in Chinese equities. At the end of October, the much-anticipated summit of the BRICS+ countries took place. At the beginning of November, there was another striking event with Donald Trump's surprisingly clear election victory. This time, we are focusing our update on China.
New mixed fund with quarterly disbursement
More and more investors are looking for responsible investment opportunities that also offer plannable, regular returns. Raiffeisen Capital Management already offers one fund with quarterly disbursement. We are now expanding the product range to include a new mixed fund with more dynamic orientation and higher regular returns.
R-Ratio funds: Performance in line with the market and climate protection combined
Climate protection is and will continue to be one of the main aspects of sustainable investment, and lower carbon emissions are a particular focus for governments, regulatory authorities, and institutional investors. For the latter, R-Ratio-GlobalAktien and R-Ratio-USAktien provide investment solutions that are intended to largely mirror the return and the volatility of their benchmarks (the MSCI World and MSCI USA, respectively) while at the same time achieving a significantly lower carbon footprint. Targeted exclusion criteria round out the sustainable concept of these funds pursuant to Article 8 of the SFDR*.
The R-Ratio-GlobalAktien, R-Ratio-USAktien and Raiffeisen-Zentraleuropa-ESG-Aktien exhibit elevated volatility, meaning that unit prices can move significantly higher or lower in short periods of time, and it is not possible to rule out loss of capital.
